APOIAF is the longest run podcast dedicated to epic glory of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire saga.
Founded in March 2008, the podcast was created in an attempt to fill the painful void left by the six year gap between books four and five. At the time there were only two dedicated fan sites; Westeros.org and ToweroftheHand.com. A Game of Thrones wasn't yet a twinkle in HBO's eye. The fans craved more! Enter A Podcast of Ice and Fire.
A dedicated following quickly formed.
